BOOKS & MOVIES – We have a small library of books relating to schooling, family life, and spirituality along with an assortment of children’s movies that parents may check out. Please provide your name, phone, and email address in the checkout log so that we can contact you with a reminder if necessary.

We welcome donations of used books and movies for this purpose! A donation box will be in the Parents’ Room.

SEMINARS – We would like to facilitate seminars that provide helpful information about education and related topics. If you have an idea for a seminar, you may drop it in the box labeled “seminar ideas” in the Parents’ Room, or you can send an email to Jeannie Hinds at jeannieh@comcast.net.

SALE or WANT ADS – There is a bulletin board in the Parents’ Room for the use of posting “for sale” ads or “want” ads. Sometimes, what you need is just what someone else is trying to get rid of!

FAMILY PROFILES – Get to know other Thursday Connection families, and let them get to know you! Fill out a family profile and read about the interests of other parents and their children. You may have something in common!

PRAYER REQUESTS – Thursday Connection’s prayer team would like to help if you are in need of prayer. Drop your requests in the box labeled for prayer requests in the Parents’ Room.

COFFEE, TREATS, and RELAXING ATMOSPHERE – Enjoy sweet treats, relaxing music and soft lighting. The perfect break from a typical day of homeschooling! Coffee and biscotti are on sale to support the student government, or you may find a sweet gift from a fellow parent!
