Annual Fall Silent Auction

Our Annual Fall Silent Auction will be held October 30 to November 21, 2008. 

If your family attends Thursday Connection and you lost or did not pick up your login and password for the auction, please send an email to webmaster@thursdayconnection.org letting me know that your child(ren) attend(s) TC and include the first and last name(s) of your child(ren). I can only look up login and password information for our families if I have your child(ren)'s name.

I only need your name, address, phone number and email if you are NOT a member of Thursday Connection.

Have you placed your bids? Please take a few minutes to browse through the silent auction site and see the wonderful items we have this year. 

Many people have spent numerous hours working on this auction to make it successful. Now we need everyone's help. Here's how you can help:

Please purchase your tickets this Thursday!

We have lowered the price to $5 per couple, however, if you wait until November 21st to get your tickets they will be $10 per couple. These tickets will be on sale at the same table as the lunch tickets.

Don't wait until the last minute. We need to plan how many desserts we need, along with many other details.

Stop by the table where the food coupons are purchased, and get your ticket.

Invite people to the auction!! We need to have a huge attendance at this event. Tell your family and friends about this event. They will be glad you did when they see everything we have. 

Begin placing your bids! There are many items that would make great Christmas gifts. Get your Christmas shopping done early AND help Thursday Connection.

The live auction is next Friday, Nov 21.

Doors open at 6:15 and bidding begins at 6:30.

Our silent auction items will be divided into 3 groups and we will close each group at different times.

6:30- Bidding begins on silent auction items
7:00- Bidding closes on group 1 items
7:15- Bidding closes on group 2 items
7:30- Bidding closes on group 3 items
7:30- LIVE Auction begins

Please remember that our fees for future semesters are dependent on a successful outcome for this auction.

We need everyone's help to bid on items in the Silent Auction, purchase tickets to the Live Auction and spread the word to others!

Dreaming of a date night with beautiful music, romantic candlelight and decadent desserts?

Of course you are! But who can afford childcare and have a wonderful date too?

For one special evening you can have it all at Thursday Connection's Silent Auction Finale on Friday November 21st at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Nubbins Ridge Road.

Our event will feature an auction with a professional auctioneer and include an indulgent dessert bar with lovely music from the Knoxville Christian Youth Band.

Tickets are $5 per couple and can be purchased any Thursday at Thursday Connection.

The student government is hosting an activity night for the children but you must pre-register. The price is $3 per child with a maximum of $8 per family. A sign-up sheet will be located at the volunteer sign-in table this Thursday and the following weeks.

We are limited to child care for 40 children (babies through age 12) and need you to sign up if you plan to use this service. We would also appreciate it if you would let us know if you have a last minute cancellation. We plan to provide a snack and age appropriate activities, games, or videos.

Tickets for the evening will be available this Thursday and may be purchased for a very affordable ten dollars per couple.

Hmmmm, chocolate, candlelight, romantic music. better mark your calendar now so you don't miss this special evening.
